About.

Creative.

I gained a Fine Art Degree in Computer Art, studied life drawing at Central St Martins College and video production and website design at NMIT. I have an eye for detail and a passion for sharing stories. I’m part of the team at Make/Shift Spaces and the founder of ART Nelson/Tasman - an art platform dedicated to promoting visual artists of Te Tauihu.

Business.

In the past 20 years experience working alongside entrepreneurs, small to medium-sized businesses, and not-for-profits, my enthusiasm and commitment lie in championing the creative requirements of your small business.

My contributions extend to broadcasting on Fresh FM and crafting websites for gifted creative individuals, along with past editorial work for the Nelson Weekly.

Presently, I fulfill dual governance responsibilities for The Brain Injury Association Top Of The South and Studio One.

Wellbeing.

With nearly two decades dedicated to tai chi practice and instruction across the United Kingdom, Asia, and New Zealand, the joy of showcasing tai chi at Prince Charles' Sustainability Garden Party in 2010 remains a cherished memory. Presently, tai chi classes are conducted at Studio One.

Discovering tai chi in 2003 and its profound ability to bring tranquility to my mind. I have continued my exploration of Yang style, qi gong, meditation, and the teachings of the Tao de Ching which have all enriched my understanding.

Participating in the inaugural Brighton Marathon and sporadic engagement in yoga, alongside acquiring the 'Introduction to Resistance Training Certificate' in 2014 in the United Kingdom, reflect my diverse fitness interests.

Incorporating insights from Buddhist meditation retreats held in the United Kingdom and Nelson, New Zealand, as well as a silent yoga retreat in Rishikesh, North India, contributes to my holistic approach. Living in varied environments, including a yurt, a canal boat in Central London, and on a solar and wind-powered island in Cambodia, has broadened my perspectives.
